*Please note the date change. Event is now on February 20, 2016!*
Are you looking for a challenge this winter? You found it!
Welcome to the toughest one day event in Saskatchewan and to the only event of its kind in this province. On February 20th, 2016, be part of a small group of brave and extremely fit athletes who will run or bike or ski approximately 60 km on Northern Saskatchewan's snowmobile trails. Choose to complete the entire distance solo or team up with a partner and enter the relay. 2016 will mark the 2nd and final time this event will take place, so if you wish to participate, now is your last chance! This year, you can also choose to kicksled or snowshoe or skijor or whatever else you dream up. Essentially, it is Alana's Ultra Anything.
This non-motorized event will begin at Elkridge Resort, located on the edge of Prince Albert National Park. Solo participants will travel to Sundogs Excursions at Anglin Lake, turn-around and return to Elkridge. Relay teams will make their exchange at Sundogs.
Warning: Don't underestimate how difficult this event might be and how many hours it may take you to finish. This part of the world can be very cold. If you have not spent many hours outdoors training in cold temperatures, testing your gear and food supplies, you will not want to attempt this event. There will only be a few checkpoints so you must be self-sufficient.
